Salman Khan in an interview said that indeed there had been a problem between SRK and him at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party. When asked if it was related to their respective TV shows - Salman said it was more personal than a TRP or professional rating war. Gossip channels had said that SRK apparently made a crude remark on Aishwarya Rai and Salman Khan’s past relationship, but Salman did not say anything to what it was related to. He also said that gossip mongers have made up a whole story and none of it is true and that he did not want to talk about it.

When the interviewer asked Salman if he would do films again with Shahrukh Khan - Salman Khan said no in a very matter of fact manner. He said that their 18 year old friendship has been cracked, it had happened in the past and things were better again but it happened again. Meanwhile, he did mention that he was in discussions with Aamir Khan about possibly doing a follow up to Andaz Apna Apna but nothing was confirmed.

Wow, I say! I mean these are grown up adults who have made their own niche in Indian cinema and have their own base of fan following. And they have cat fights? This ranking system only seems to be around in Bollywood and sure there are camps and cliques in every industry but bollywood just seems to always take it a little too far publicly. The popular media definitely adds fuel to the fire when they run features like who’s the king, who’s number 1 etc. Its almost like teenagers bickering over whose team wins at the high school games! For the gossip blogs/site/channels its fodder but even mainstream news channels catch on to these things and make them the “sansani khez khabar” of the day. Is that all there is to these news channels and is that all the Indian public wants to hear? Its time bollywood grew up and quit providing fodder with their public fights and comments, because then it draws focus to their personal issues and not to the films and the kind of work they are doing.

As far as the Khan gang is concerned, I personally would really like to see Shahrukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan together in one frame on the big screen. That would be a treat for all bollywood lovers!
